We are going through a moment where we ought to rethink the priorities of humanity. By 2050 the world population will have reached the 9 billion mark, which raises the question of how to feed the entire planet. What is needed to successfully face the challenge of food security?

Using the momentum of the Paralympics in Rio, we will discuss the multi-faceted challenges related to this topic and rethink existing paradigms. Apart from food security experts, we will also mobilize the startup and innovation ecosystem from both Brazil and Switzerland in order to help come up with new solutions such as new ways of eating and how to produce food differently.

The Conference will take place from 9h00 to 12h30.
