Night of the Researchers in São Paulo

Last night in São Paulo, on May 6th, swissnex Brazil in partnership with EURAXESS Brasil and Nuffic Neso held the second edition of the “Night of the Researchers”,  an event that aims to create collaborations and opportunities for international cooperation by bringing together leading researchers from Europe and Brazil.

Yesterday’s edition of the event had the presence of two European Research Council (ERC) awardees from Brazil: Dr. Mariana de Campos Françozo an Associate Professor at the Department of Archaeological Heritage and Society, Faculty of Archaeology, Leiden University, The Netherlands and Dr. Elison Matioli a tenure track assistant professor and director of the POWERlab at Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL) in Switzerland.

The guests presented their research and shared their experiences in Europe, including tips for those who want to apply for the prestigious ERC grants – an education and research system that Dr. Matioli affirmed is like no other in the world. The event also held a cocktail for networking.
