Start-up Brazil announces new tenders

On 27 May, the 2014 call for the Start-Up Brazil program was launched.
The Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MCTI), the National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq) and the Brazilian Agency for the Promotion of Exports and Investments (Apex Brazil) launched the new call at the end of May.
The support for start-ups is aimed at national (75% of total) and international companies (up to 25% of the total), which have been launched up to four years ago and develop innovative products or services using software, IT hardware and services as part of the proposed solution. The CNPq call applies to national companies while the Apex-Brazil call is for foreign start-ups.
