Scholarships of Excellence of the Swiss Government 2015-2016
The Swiss government has opened applications for scholarships, through the Federal Commission for Scholarships for Foreign Students (FCS), which awards the following postgraduate scholarships to Brazilian scholars and researchers:
a) PhD: Interested candidates in a PhD at a Swiss university (maximum 3 years);
b) Post-doc: Researchers already in possession of a PhD that want to conduct research at a Swiss university (12 months);
c) Research: Candidates already registered in national PhD programmes interested in doing 12 months of research at a Swiss university as well as doctors doing a specialization
The criteria of eligibility and more information on the call for the academic year 2015-2016 (starting in September 2015) are classified according to countries on the FCS page and are accessible here.
The responsibility of finding a researcher, professor or a postgraduate programme at a Swiss university for a doctorate, post-doctorate or research is entirely the responsibility of the applicant. Neither swissnex Brazil nor the Swiss Embassy can help in this process.
